Welcome Nathan Harper D.D.S. joining the practice of John Landis DDS

It is a great pleasure for me to introduce you to Nathan Harper, DDS. Dr. Harper is a board certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with over ten years of complex surgical experience.
Dr. Harper is excited and proud to join the Beaches dental community. Dr. Harper has strong Florida ties as both his mother and brother were stationed in Jacksonville. Further, he attended Stetson University in Deland, FL for his undergraduate education. After performing dental research at the National Institute of Health for one year, he went on to attend the University of Southern California Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry under the United States Army Health Professional's Scholarship program.
After graduating dental school, he spent two years as a General Dentist at Fort Stewart, GA and then was selected to train at Tripler Army Medical Center's Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program in Honolulu, Hawaii. He is trained in broad scope oral and maxillofacial surgery and has expertise in dental implants, simple and complex bone grafting, exodontia/third molar surgery, pre-prosthetic surgery, orthognathic surgery and complex facial trauma.
He has spent the last four years as an Assistant Professor at the Uniformed Services University mentoring advanced dental residents in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Fort Carson, CO. He and his wife, Krista, and three young children are relocating to our community, and are looking forward to being a part of the Jacksonville beaches area. They are excited to get back to their coastal calling enjoying the beaches and surfing!
